A Bible-based system with fandoms that all Christians enjoy, with the hopes that all will show the Fruits of the Spirit and help make this site the best it can be. I hope for it to have places to upload Fanart, Fanfiction, and Forums on Fandoms. If you're interested, please read this through and help perfect my ideas as much as possible!

My Little Story

I am a Christian girl who is in love with fandoms. To be blunt, the real world is not the most enjoyable for me, because although there are Christians in my community, I am not one to love outward social interaction, and most of my interests aren't that popular with the common people-- specifically Christians, the people I'd like to 'hang' with most-- in average every day life. So, I spend time online, where I can easily find and join those who like the same things as me. The problem is, it's impossible to find a Christian or completely-judgmentally-free place with people online. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I want to be with Christians, but I want to be with people in my fandoms, all while as fair and Godly as possible. Therefore, I decided to start this program. 

I'd like this to be as much of a Biblical system as possible, so here are some groundwork verses I thought to be good to base the site on. If you have any other good verses that apply, feel free to add them. 

Verses (if you can find what you believe to be a better translation for them, please let me know)

• Luke 6:31 ESV And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them. [Treat others as you want to be treated.]

• Philippians 4:8 NIV Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble,  whatever is right,  whatever is pure,  whatever is lovely,  whatever is admirable-- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-- think about such things.
• Galatians 5:22-23 ESV But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
• 1 Timothy 4:12 NIV Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the Believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
• Romans 12:18 VOICE If it is within your power, make peace with all people.

Voting

• This site would be nothing without fandoms. But some media is definitely not suitable for the environment I hope for, so we can't just have any fandom out there. Here is my idea for a solution to that problem.
• Any member can write a petition. This petition can be bringing to light the breaking of rules by another member, to impeach a member on the group of seven (will explain), or to add a fandom to the list.
• If the petition is on impeaching a member of the seven, then an open poll for all members will be opened.
• Any of the other propositions will be brought to the group of seven, who will vote on the subject. If a fandom is added, it must be follow the "True Noble Right Pure Lovely Admirable Excellent Praiseworthy", but keeping in mind that any man-made thing is not perfect. When added, it will be an option to add media for, or add on your profile as a Fandom you love.
• Every two months, there will be a re-election for the group of seven. A three day period will open for members to submit usernames of others to join. They may suggest themselves. After the three days are up, a poll will be submitted including all of the names given. At this point, I'm not sure exactly how it will work, as it depends on the number of members. The voters will either only get one vote and the top seven choices become the new seven, or each member will get seven votes.

Mechanics

     • Any member can make a petition. There will be a journal section made specifically for this. They are required to have a valid argument with a Godly viewpoint.

• Ability to follow others' work
• On profile, there is an option to select any fandoms that are on the site that you are a member of.
• I'd like to add a system so that anyone speaking any language can easily come on the site and have it translated for them, and vice versa.

Rules

• When listing the rules for new members, add to the top a request to *please* pay attention to the rules to provide the best possible environment for all Christians.

• Critique on any media is welcomed and respected, but no hate allowed. If more than one complaint or a petition is received over hate, the seven elected members will vote on possible ban.
• Only post media you own, link back to the owner, or have permission to post. If a petition is written that you do not own something you have posted and is voted on by the seven elected members, it may result in a ban.
• No M-rated content. This includes lemons/sexual content, and foul language. If a petition if written for posting any media with lemons/sexual content and is proven correct, it will result in a ban. If you use any foul language, you will receive a warning. Typos will be taken into consideration. If you continue to use foul language, you may be banned.
• No giving your real life name, age, state or country of origin, or address. Gender may be given. If you don't comply with this rule, you will be warned, and if nothing is changed, it will result in a ban.
• Stories and art submitted don't specifically have to be related to the Bible or Christianity, but they do have to be True/Noble/Right/Pure/Lovely/Admirable/Excellent/Praiseworthy; etc.

Problems with and questions on the system

• The seven elected members might be overworked if enough people join.
• Alcoholic-related content-- the Bible says no drunkenness, so how far should rules go in banning and allowing such things?
